Our Story
Engineering excellence since 2015
Smart Power Systems (SPS) was founded in 2015 by energy engineers with deep expertise in power systems design and project delivery. From our first projects in Southern Europe and North Africa, our approach has been consistent: understand the technical challenge thoroughly before proposing a solution.
Our foundation is technical rigour. We believe that solid engineering — done thoroughly and documented clearly — is what separates energy projects that perform as promised from those that disappoint. This discipline shapes everything we do, from a desktop feasibility study to a multi-MW EPC contract.
Today, SPS operates across four domains: Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage (BESS), UPS & Power Continuity, and Technical Services & Advisory. We serve developers, independent power producers, installers, industrial clients and manufacturers — wherever engineering excellence and EMEA market knowledge matter.
